PixAura ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the PixAura application collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding your data.
1. Overview
PixAura is a visual creation workflow app that helps you discover images from Pixabay or capture photos with the camera, manage projects, edit images, create layouts, and export content. We designed the App with privacy in mind:
- No account required – You do not need to register or sign in to use the App.
- No uploads to our servers – Your photos and projects are not sent to PixAura servers.
- Minimal data collection – We do not collect personal information for advertising or analytics.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or other personally identifiable information (unless you voluntarily contact us via the feedback email).
- Your photos or edited images (they remain on your device).
- Location data.
- Usage analytics or tracking data for advertising purposes.
- Any data for sale to third parties.
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The following data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers:

| App cache | Temporary files (e.g., downloaded thumbnails) to improve performance. |
You can clear the app cache from the Settings screen. Deleting the App will remove all locally stored data.
4. Permissions We Request
The App may request the following permissions:

| Camera | To capture photos and add them directly to your projects. |
We do not read your existing photos unless you explicitly select them within the App for editing. We only write (save) new images when you choose to export or download. Camera access is used only when you choose to take a photo to add to a project.
5. Third-Party Services
Pixabay
The App fetches images and metadata from the Pixabay API. When you search or browse:
- Search queries and API requests are sent to Pixabay's servers (not to PixAura).
- Pixabay may log API requests according to their own Privacy Policy.
- We do not send your personal information to Pixabay. API requests typically include only search terms and pagination parameters.
Apple Services
The App uses standard iOS features such as:
- Photo Library – To save images you export.
- Share Sheet – To share images to other apps you choose.
- Mail – If you use the feedback option to send us an email.
These services are subject to Apple's privacy policies and your device settings.
6. Data We Do Not Share
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising. We do not have access to your locally stored projects, favorites, or preferences.
7. Data Security
- Your projects and favorites are stored locally on your device.
- We do not transmit this data to our servers.
- You are responsible for securing your device (e.g., passcode, biometrics) to protect your data.
8. International Users
The App may be used globally. Data stored on your device remains on your device. If you contact us via email, your message may be processed in the jurisdiction where we operate.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
